A few weeks after the second dose of the vaccine I began getting very tired and weak. Over the next few weeks after that I became devoid of all energy and had extreme difficulty waking up in the morning. This turned into sleeping 16-18 hours a day. As well as such extreme tiredness I couldn?t fully wake up in order to work my part time job. The weakness continued until I became basically bed ridden for almost 2 full years. I had a very noticeable change in memory as well as cognitive ability. I began experiencing extreme changes in temperature and feeling very weak when I stood. These symptoms did not change and continue to this day.

I had bloodwork in late 2021 which indicated I had Hashimotos Thyroiditis. After that my hair began falling out rapidly. In March 2024 I saw Dr at dept of Infectious diseases whom confirmed my long COVID diagnosis due to COVID 19 vaccine injury. My alopecia areata was reactivated and My body was more predisposed for the reaction as might immune system was already sensitive to autoimmune conditions. He stated as well as ME/CFS and also a tentative diagnosis of POTS. Dr discussed the Pots and CFS were shown in research to be correlated with Long COVID I met with Dr in May 2024 and was diagnosed with POTS. I had to quit my job and career of 18 years as I cannot perform my job with the same ability as before and I am losing money monthly.
