shingrix 2nd does while having active shingles; shingrix 2nd does while having active shingles; This non-serious case was reported by a consumer via interactive digital media and described the occurrence of shingles in a patient who received Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Co-suspect products included Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. On an unknown date, the patient received the 2nd dose of Shingrix and the 1st dose of Shingrix. On an unknown date, not applicable after receiving Shingrix and an unknown time after receiving Shingrix, the patient experienced shingles (Verbatim: shingrix 2nd does while having active shingles) and drug use for unapproved indication (Verbatim: shingrix 2nd does while having active shingles). The outcome of the shingles was not reported and the outcome of the drug use for unapproved indication was not applicable. It was unknown if the reporter considered the shingles to be related to Shingrix. It was unknown if the company considered the shingles to be related to Shingrix.
