Symptom narrative

approximately 5 minutes after vaccine administration, patient went limp but was alert. father picked him up and took him to an exam room where he was placed in trendelenburg position, remained awake, vitals measured - elevated BP and HR and pt stated he was nervous and doesn't like shots. monitored for at least a half hour and remained stable. vitals returned to normal. he asked for a snack and granola bar was given to him. he left clinic and felt normal.

Influenza A, pneumonia diagnosed on 3/16, treated, recovered and asymptomatic a week ago
