All three injections were administered and patient was getting ready to leave the exam room/clinic. The mother noticed the patient's face had a more pronounced rash and some swelling, the mother notified the physician and practice manager, who then notified the clinician to respond and assess. Clinician ordered 5 ML of Bendaryl to be administered, the patient was observed every 5-10 minutes and after 30 minutes of observation, the Clinician ordered another 3 ML of Benadryl to be administered. Patient was never in distress nor anaphylaxis. Clinician communicated the event with the rendering clinician, both of whom agreed the patient could be sent home as he was stable.
