Patient was administered vaccine. Once she was done, she stood in front of pharmacy for about 5 minutes. She then informed tech that she felt dizzy. She was advised to sit down. She was offered water, but declined. Right after I , started to investigate to determine if she was having an allergic reaction. the patient then said she could not see, and thing were going black. as I told the techs to call 911, she limped over on her left side and started shaking for 2 to 3 seconds. I attempted to protect her head from injury during that time. once she stopped, the tech and I guided her to the floor. I monitored for a pulse and called her name. I notice she was not responsive, and I could not find a pulse, I got in CPR position. As I started the 1st compression, she came to, She did not have any breathing issues, we provided her with water to help her cool down as she was anxious and nauseated. I applied a cold rubbing alcohol compress to her back and she began to calm down. When the paramedics arrived, they checked her vitals. Her blood pressure dropped only when standing. They administered anti-nausea medication, and fluids.
