Symptom narrative

The patient experienced stiffness and pain in the neck and both arms. He went to the ER and was prescribed a medrol dose pack. He improved over the next few days but 2 days after finishing the medrol dose pack extreme neck and arm pain returned. He went back to the ER and was admitted into the hospital for 4 days. He was prescribed antibiotics and steroids, and meningitis was ruled out. The patient states he gained 15 lb. due to steroids, which he has since lost, and he feels he is now about 90% recovered. Patient felt strongly that Abrysvo was the cause of the incident because although he also received Boostrix on the same day he has had several tdap vaccinations before without a problem.
