Symptom narrative

The patient reported being taken the the Emergency Department several hours following her two vaccines. She was told by her husband and sister that she was exhibiting symptoms of a stroke, including confusion. She was also running a 104-degree fever and felt "very sick" when she was taken to the hospital. She has very little recollection of the series of events. The physician treating her told the patient's sister that she was exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 exposure, but to her knowledge they did not run a test to confirm this. The patient was feeling well enough to discuss this with me the following day (4/4/2025) and appeared to be coherent and in good spirits. She was discharged home and no further treatments were apparent at this time.
