Symptom narrative

Symptoms started the day following the vaccine. She said her arm was swollen, red, and itchy. She also developed a headache and insomnia. She did not treat any symptoms. Today (6 days later) the patient reports her symptoms to be "much better", but she still has a headache and insomnia. The swelling has gone down. Arm is still red and itchy though. I recommended taking Claritin every day (she cannot take Benadryl) and ibuprofen until she can be seen by her physician.
