Symptom narrative

Spoke with patient's wife. She states that patient began having tongue numbness on Saturday 4/5/25 into Sunday 4/6/25. Went to ER Monday night 4/7/25 with eye pain of level 9, blurry vision and watering of eye. Doc at ER told them it was believed to be viral Bells Palsy and could not link to vaccines but wife cannot think of anything that had changed. Doc prescribed anti-viral medication and a steroid. The right side has been affected and patient is having difficulty with eating/drinking. Does not have PCP at this time and does not establish with one until next month. Has neuro appt in 2 weeks. ER doc advised family that some pts fully recover, some partially recover and some don't at all.
