Symptom narrative

Dad paged on call provider regarding arm pain, redness, swelling at injection site. Noted PT received 5 yr old vaccines yesterday (Friday) and R arm is now red, warm to touch, swollen and painful to PT. Discussed side effects of vaccines with dad and also that PT may have tensed up during administration of the vaccine causing a reaction. Encouraged to give ibuprofen and a warm compress as well as Benadryl at bedtime. PT is using R arm but favoring L one.
