Symptom narrative

Mild Localized Reaction - Erythema and swelling at the injection site noted on left upper arm. Treatment: symptomatic care and OTC meds recommended. Apply cold compress to the injection site for 20 minutes and repeat every 2-4 hours as needed. Consider OTC analgesic (pain reliever) unless contraindicated. Wear lightweight clothing over the injection site. Patient in no acute distress, strict UC/ER precautions provided. Recommended to monitor symptoms and follow up if symptoms worsen or do not improve as discussed.
