Symptom narrative

12:20 pm Rotavirus vaccine started, 12:22 pm hives started, 12:25 pm 2.5 ml Benadryl given po, 12:35 pm reaction was less erythematous, 12:45 pm even less erythematous and parents were ready to go home. Patient did not develop respiratory distress during reaction and observation. Script for prednisolone 2 ml po BID x 3 days given and is to be started if hives persist beyond 1 hour. To ER if breathing problems develop or RTC 5/12/25 if hives persist.
