Symptom narrative

Patient fainted 5 minutes after receiving vaccination. She sat for monitoring due to a history of fainting post vaccination secondary to a fear of needles. Upon getting up to leave the pharmacy assisted by her family member she began to get lightheaded and fainted and they lowered her gently to the floor so she could lie down. Patient was able to sit up a few moments later and was alert and oriented.
