My provider asked I could give the patient a vaccine around 10:40 a.m. I grabbed the vaccine from the Hep B box and gave the patient the vaccine. When I realized I inject the patient with the wrong vaccine, I informed her right away and put her back in the room. I told the nurse about what happened, and she immediately told the provider. After the nurse told the provider what happened, she told me it was okay to give the correct vaccine.
