A 40-year-old male received his first dose of IXIARO (Japanese encephalitis vaccine, batch number JEV22H63E) i.m. on 08 Apr 2024. Concomitant medication included Allopurinol (allopurinol) and his medical history was stated as gout. On 11 May 2024 he experienced an ear infection and was treated with Amox/Kclav 875/125 mg (amoxicillin, clavulanic acid) since 12 May 2024. On 13 May 2024 he was due for his second dose of IXIARO.
