Symptom narrative

Immediately after vaccination on Apr. 24, 2025 noticeable swelling that looked like a blister or keloid developed. 11 days later, on May 5th 2025 the patient woke from sleep around 10:30pm shrieking and screaming. His torso was very tense and then he fell limp with little to no control of his muscles. He could not walk and would not come-to after several attempts to wake him. This episode lasted for several minutes, long. We tried asking him if he was in pain to which he tried answering but he could not lift his head or arms to point but he did complain that his head hurt.

Lab data

We took him to our local emergency room immediately upon his strange behavior on May 5th, 2025 where they ran several tests including a CT scan and bloodwork, all which came back normal with a diagnosis of ?seizure like activity.? Upon further consideration, febrile seizures are listed as one of the potential adverse events post vaccination. Given that he is a healthy child and the event occurred not long after vaccination, two events appear to be undeniably linked. He had a follow up visit with his pediatrician to which he appeared to have no further complications and we have scheduled an appointment with a neurologist to have an EEG scan done.
