Symptom narrative

Patients mom called to mention that the site of the injection was hard and red and that she was complaining of it hurting. She noticed it the Thursday after the vaccine and called Friday 6/6/25 to ask us about it. She drew a circle around it on Wednesday to see if it kept spreading and it did so she called. We informed her that it is a normal reaction, and to use tyelenol, ice it, to not let her touch the area and to watch her fever. If she were to spke a fever or it was to get worse over the weekend to go to urgent care as our clinic is not open on the weekend.
