Symptom narrative

Patient was administered the vaccine and as soon as she got the shot she complained of not feeling well. Shortly, she complained feeling dizzy and could not breath. Emergency services were alerted 911 was called. Pharmacist checked the patient and she was breathing very shallow with no sign of consciousness. Pharmacist determined that Epinephrine was warranted and administered Epinephrine. Patient gained consciousness within few minutes and the EMS arrived and checked her. We followed up with the patient the next day and she said she was doing fine. She had to go back to ER on Friday night and they observed her for 3 hours, her BP was high and they did not find anything significant to hospitalize her.
