Patient that was Given HEPLISAV-B, But She's 17; Initial report received on 02-Jun-2025. An office manager reported that a 17-year-old female received HEPLISAV-B (hepatitis B vaccine) for hepatitis B immunization. No medical history or concomitant medications were reported. On 05-May-2025, the patient received a dose of a hepatitis B vaccine HEPLISAV-B (lot number, expiration date, and NDC number not available) intramuscularly. The patient was 17 at the time. The physician did not realize this at the time. The office had recently switched to using HEPLISAV-B. The patient did not experience any adverse reactions. No additional information was reported.
