Symptom narrative

Patient was very nervous to receive the vaccine and squeezed a pharmacist's hand while getting the vaccines. Patient was also holding their breath throughout. After getting the vaccines pat got dizzy, groggy, and pale. Also, she expressed that she felt very warm and she vomited. Rapid response was called and she was taken to the ED. Per ED report pt passed out, though she was never observed to have lost consciousness while at the immunization clinic and was talking from the time she got the shot until ED took her.

Lab data

Pt was given juice and crackers, and was provider with an rx for ondansetron. Pt had a pregnancy test done before getting the vaccines which came back negative. ED also ran several other lab tests which all came back normal.
