Symptom narrative

no additional AE; a temperature excursion; This spontaneous report was received from a nurse on 02-Jul-2025 and refers to a patient of unknown age and gender. The patient's medical history was not reported. The patient's concurrent conditions were not reported. Concomitant therapies were not reported. On 16-Jun-2025, the patient was vaccinated with improperly stored Varicella Virus Vaccine Live (Oka-Merck) (VARIVAX REFRIGERATOR STABLE), (lot #Y015108, expiration date: 06-Sep-2026) 0.5 ml as prophylaxis. There is a temperature excursion of Varicella Virus Vaccine Live (Oka-Merck) (VARIVAX REFRIGERATOR STABLE) at 6.3F for 16 minutes (Product storage error). There was no previous temperature excursion. The vaccine was reconstituted with sterile diluent (MERCK STERILE DILUENT) (lot # and expiration date not provided). No additional AE (no adverse event). At the reporting time, the outcome of the events was unknown.
