Symptom narrative

Patient received 2nd Shingrix shot last Thursday July 3rd. Patient calls in today to report that she has had a "bad" reaction from shot. On further discussion she reports that Thursday her Left arm become red, swollen, and very itchy. Patient reports that she took some Tylenol and has been applying cool packs to site. She reports that she had a fever to 100.0 on July 4th. Pt reports that swelling has become less and less the last few days but it is still itching. She was wondering if she could take some Benadryl. I advised her that she could take it as directed and that she could also apply some anti-itch or hydrocortisone cream to site. She is to call back if it does not continue to get better.
