Symptom narrative

Two (2) days after receiving the first Shingrix vaccine shot I began having a sore/tender area at base of my neck. By Saturday 4 days post injection blisters formed in that area which was the size of a silver dollar. I also had stinging/tingling across my shoulder and into my neck. Next day I was seen at urgent care and diagnosed with shingles and prescribed an antiviral med and topical lidocaine. HX: I received the original shingles vaccine around 2005 and 2 years later broke out in a more severe case of shingles compared to this episode.
