Vaccine was given 2 days after the "10-week once received" expiration date. The local health department does not allow us to enter that date into computer, but rather the date on the box, which is much farther out. As a result, we have to manually check a little label handwritten on the vaccine box. If the actual date of expiration (10 week) was allowed to be put in the computer, errors like this could be avoided.
