Symptom narrative

Twinrix subcutaneous administration; This non-serious case was reported by a other health professional via call center representative and described the occurrence of intramuscular formulation administered by other route in a 66-year-old male patient who received HAB (Twinrix) (batch number P2334, expiry date 18-SEP-2027) for prophylaxis. On 10-JUL-2025, the patient received Twinrix (unknown arm). On 10-JUL-2025, an unknown time after receiving Twinrix, the patient experienced intramuscular formulation administered by other route (Verbatim: Twinrix subcutaneous administration). The outcome of the intramuscular formulation administered by other route was not applicable. This report is made by GSK without prejudice and does not imply any admission or liability for the incident or its consequences. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 10-JUL-2025 The health care provider wanted to know how to proceed after a patient had received Twinrix administered subcutaneously, instead of intramuscularly, with a rather long needle in the arm, which led to Intramuscular formulation administered by other route.
