Symptom narrative

Approximately 1-2 minutes after administration, patient fainted while still seated in the vaccination room. Patient and mother were prepared as this is a fairly regular occurrence for him. Mother helped him to the floor where we propped his legs on the chair. Patient regained consciousness immediately. Provided an ice pack, but it was not warranted for injury - only to cool off. Patient denied nausea, dizziness, and injuries. He remained in prone position for approximately 15 minutes. He was in good spirits and laughing the whole time. After 15 minutes, he sat upright and remained seated on the floor for another 10 minutes. He then returned to the chair until he felt confident to stand again. Patient and mother left at 10:43am with all s/s resolved and feeling good.
