After receiving the immunization he stood up to wait for his brother to receive an immunization. After about 1 to 2 minutes he suffered syncope. He did not injure himself in the fall. He was unresponsive for about 10 seconds. He woke up spontaneously and had slight confusion. His blood pressure and pulse were not elevated. His skin was not pale or clammy. He remained seated for about 10 minutes with his feet elevated before attempting to stand again. With assistance from his mother he was able to stand and walked on his own. Mother declined a call to EMS.
