Symptom narrative

About one week after he notices ridges in his nails on the fingers of both hands. This progressively became worse and his nails are "decaying" and flaking and falling off. They are splintering and chipping off his fingers.

Back pain, gout, osteoarthritis

Other medications

On a blood pressure medication can't remember the name, hydrocodone, muscle relaxer, cialis, ASA

Allergies

NSAIDS, no allergies to food, is allergic to latex

Lab data

Has been to several MD's. Has been to a derm. He has had nail scrapings and they did not find fungal growth. He has went for a second opinion and they referred to facility but his insurance was not accepted. Then went to another derm and they discovered fungas in his nails and he was put on an antifungal he could not tolerate. Too hard on stomach. He then went to another Derm and they wanted to "drill" into his nails but he did not have this done. Today he has just decided to live with this and he feels this is related to his COVID shot. Note he also has had toenails removed from great toes due to fungas as well.
