Symptom narrative

Patient came in to get 2nd Shingles vaccine and stated that on the 1st vaccine, he had a reaction causing severe rash that started on the arm of the left arm and spread across his chest, back, and right arm. Patient stated that the rash would not go away on its own and he had to get a steroid shot at the doctor's office to finally help make the rash go sway. Patient stated that this rash came and went for over a month before seeking additional treatment (steroid shot). Pharmacist decided not to give patient next shingles vaccine and recommended that he not get one in the future either.
