Symptom narrative

My tinnitus definitely got worse and my ears more sensitive--an increase in hyperacusis. I'm still feeling it 8 months later.

Current illness

I had two rounds of Covid in 2024, in July and September. The vaccine was about three months after the onset of the second time I had Covid.

Medical history

I've had tinnitus and hyperacusis since September 2013. I've gotten Covid three times, once in 2022 and twice in 2024. I've gotten four Covid boosters, the first two in spring of 2021, one in December of 2021, and then December of 2024. It definitely feels cumulative--yes, the bouts of Covid have increased my tinnitus/hyperacusis, but the final vaccine really made things a lot worse.
