Symptom narrative

The patient presented to the ER with vomiting and found to have intussusception on ultrasound. The intussusception did not resolve with air enema x 2 attempts and subsequently had a exploratory laparoscopy which discovered spontaneous resolution, not requiring further surgical intervention. Child was discharged home in stable condition.
