Incomplete course of vaccination

Symptom narrative

Late second dose; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of incomplete course of vaccination in a female patient who did not receive Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Shingrix (patient received 1st dose in 2018 with batch number NX952 and expiry date 06th March 2020). On an unknown date, the patient did not receive the 2nd dose of Shingrix. The patient experienced incomplete course of vaccination (Verbatim: Late second dose). The outcome of the incomplete course of vaccination was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK receipt date: 11-AUG-2025 On 11 August 2025, a pharmacist called to get guidance on the Shingrix vaccination series, the patient got the first shot back in 2018 and want to have the second shot this year which led to incomplete course of vaccination. The healthcare professional wanted to know if the complete series have to be restarted.
