Symptom narrative

Admitted into the hospital, following a diagnosis of strep throat, in December 2023. I was in my second trimester at that time. Diagnosed with pericarditis. The team was not able to determine a cause for the parent carditis, even after meeting with infectious disease to rule out rheumatic fever. Managed on steroids, which required insulin administration during pregnancy. Baby was born at 36 weeks, premature.
