Injection site erythema

Symptom narrative

Patient got a red patchy mark the size of a silver dollar under the injection siter about 3 hours after the injection. Patient took 3 ibuprofen children chewables 15 minutes after noticing the reaction and that helped clear it up within 24 to 48 hours per mother reporting. Parent also applied ice to injection siter and surrounding red area.
