Symptom narrative

Ixchiq vaccine administered on 8/18/25. Flu-like symptoms started after vaccination. Patient took oral acetaminophen and rested. Patient was seen in the primary care office with these symptoms on 8/27/25. His symptoms included daily chills, sweats, body aches, pronounced fatigue. No GI or upper respiratory symptoms, no chest pain/pressure, no shortness of breath. On 8/27/25 patient felt like he was turning the corner on the symptoms. On 8/28/25 patient reported he felt much better.

Chronic conditions: hypertension, osteoarthritis

Amlodipine-valsartan for hypertension, Meloxicam as needed for pain, vitamin B12 OTC oral supplement, vitamin D oral supplement

Allergies

Hazel nuts (scratchy throat), birch and alder trees (hay fever type reaction)
