Symptom narrative

Reaction to first time flu vaccine. After sitting for 10 minutes after flu shot given at 1458 to observe, pt went to bathroom and returned at 1513 saying "I feel like I'm having a reaction". Complained of itching everywhere and hive red raised areas on neck, chest, arms. Called 911 and epi 0.3mg IM given 1515 Left thigh. BP 148/98 p 80. Hand tremors noted. Pt apprehensive but denies difficulty breathing. Continues with generalized itching and hives, denies difficulty breathing, states pulse racing. 1522 BP 162/90 2nd dose epi 0,3mg IM given R thigh. 1524 reports itching better but hives still present. 1526 BP 154/80 p 76 1532 EMS arrived care transferred to EMS. transported via ambulance to Hospital.
