I lost my hair. Not just on my head, but side burns and under my arms; This is a spontaneous report received from a Consumer or other non HCP from medical information team. A 77-year-old male patient received BNT162b2 (BNT162B2), in Oct2021 as dose 3 (booster), single (Batch/Lot number: unknown), in right arm for covid-19 immunisation. The patient's relevant medical history and concomitant medications were not reported. Vaccination history included: Bnt162b2 (DOSE 1; MANUFACTURER UNKNOWN), for COVID-19 immunization; Bnt162b2 (DOSE 2; MANUFACTURER UNKNOWN), for COVID-19 immunization. The following information was reported: ALOPECIA (non-serious) with onset Feb2022, outcome "not recovered", described as "I lost my hair. Not just on my head, but side burns and under my arms". Therapeutic measures were taken as a result of alopecia. Additional information: The patient lost hair. Not just on head, but sideburns and under arms. It had not come back to this day. On 08Sep2025: The patient had used over-the-counter products, none of which works, he looked into other people who experienced the same things, their hair came back and resolved. It wasn't when he got the injection, a month or two later when he contracted Covid, he only had Covid for 1 day, he tested positive and quarantined for a week, during that week or shortly after, he experienced this.
