Symptom narrative

Pt received flu shot, approximately 3 minutes after receiving immunization she reported difficulty breathing. Pt sat in chair, quickly assessed, 911 activated, and administered one dose of epinephrine via EpiPen into the left thigh. Within a couple minutes, pt endorsed breathing improved, but was noticeably shaking and cold. BP was assessed following administration of epinephrine and found to be 158/79 with pulse in the 80's. EMS arrived on scene and took over care and transported for further treatment/evaluation.
