Symptom narrative

Systemic: Needlestick Exposure-Medium, Additional Details: I (the immunizer) accidentally pricked myself during an immunization. I gave the patient a Boostrix shot and after taking the needle out, I pricked myself on my left pointer finger. This happened before I was able to deploy the needle safety device. Immediately washed my hand and followed the protocol on accidental needle pricks. Went to MD to get checked. Spoke with patient and discussed situation.
