Symptom narrative

AE - patient stated first with burning sensation as the vaccine was administered, then slight pain. Patient noticed bruising upon removal of bandaid the following day. Pt presented with bruising at time of report approx 2 inch diameter purplish @ center with yellow area around outside NOTE: Patient reported to urgent are for assessment. Provider states patient has a contusion, but site is healing. Patient advised to use a cold compress ~72 hours, then warm compress afterwards to clear up blood within the tissues
