Symptom narrative

Pt experienced an episode of syncope about 1-2 min after administration of vaccine during routine appointment. Pt did not strike his head and was lowered to ground from exam table. Pt was placed on his back, legs were lifted onto nurses shoulders to promote blood flow to the brain. Pt awoke immediately after intervention and was capable of standing, Pt was monitored at clinic for 15 min, no symptoms were observed, pt denied any further symptoms. Pt left clinic in stable condition.
