Symptom narrative

Within 48 hours, dizziness and light headed Ness. Within 72 hours, the room began to spin, head was heavy, if she got up, she was so nauseous she would vomit, on day 4 from the vaccine she was still unable to get up on her own. We went to the emergency room (withheld name Hospital) where they started with a migraine cocktail and did an MRI. MRI was normal cocktail didn't work. ENT and Neurology consulted and admitted her. She was diagnosed with Vertigo, a Nystagmus due to Vestibular Neuritis. They started her on a heavy dose of steroids and released her the next afternoon. She was prescribed a 19 day course of prednisone with a taper. She had Vestibular testing completed and is now in Vestibular PT. The Nystagmus cleared September 9th. Follow up with ENT was completed on September 18th. Unsure if vertigo will retrigger.
