Injection site pruritus

Symptom narrative

Rash on left arm with no sign of infection or open wound. Not warm to touch. No pain per her statement. Patient said site was slightly itchy. Patient showed no sign of distress or concern. I recommended she see her MD to follow up. I recommended her an antihistamine called Claritin and for her to continue her anti-itch cream she already been using. I also reported it to her MD via fax.
