Symptom narrative

I got bitten by an ant on my left arm/wrist, and now my arm/wrist is swollen. The bite started small but increased over time. I went to the Urgent Care the next day to get information on what I needed to do. The doctor at the urgent care prescribed me Prednisone to take for the swelling. I am not sure if I am supposed to take this medication after 48 hours of having a live vaccine.
