Symptom narrative

Call to pt who states she received the injection Friday morning and she noticed site/arm pain and slightly feeling "flush almost hot flashy" but attributed to just getting it. Friday night she states it was very painful to lay on. Saturday her arm and the site were very red and warm to touch with pain and itching. She states that it was redder at the injection site and had a marble sized circle of swelling. The redness around the site was about softball sized. She states that she took tylenol and rotated ice pack and heat which helped. Her s/s continued throughout Saturday and Sunday and then s/s resolved on Monday

GERD, allergic rhinitis, HTN, Vit D def, hyperlipidemia

Valacyclovir 500 mg 1 tab daily, Rosuvastatin 5 mg 1 tab daily, Pravastatin 20 mg 1 tab daily, Olmesartan 20 mg 1 tab daily, Meloxicam 15 mg 1 tab daily, Femotidine 40 mg 1 tab daily and Cholecalciferol 5000 units daily
