Symptom narrative

Pt said day of vaccination arm (9/17) was starting to get red and swell and went below elbow on the inside. Tried arnica (for bruising) and nothing by mouth. Patient tried to contact PCP but was unable to get in touch with office. Advised patient to seek care at Urgent Clinic. Patient called back later during day (9/22) and says urgent care said it is not an infection but inflammation or her body responding to the vaccination and to continue to monitor for a few more days. Did not recommend any oral medications like ibuprofen or Tylenol.
