Incomplete course of vaccination

Symptom narrative

Shingrix - Late second dose; This non-serious case was reported by a pharmacist via call center representative and described the occurrence of incomplete course of vaccination in a 92-year-old male patient who did not receive Herpes zoster (Shingrix) for prophylaxis. Previously administered products included Shingrix (First dose was received on 03-OCT-2023). The patient did not receive the 2nd dose of Shingrix. The patient experienced incomplete course of vaccination (Verbatim: Shingrix - Late second dose). The outcome of the incomplete course of vaccination was not applicable. Additional Information: GSK Receipt Date: 10-SEP-2025 The pharmacist stated that the patient had received the first dose of Shingrix in 2023 and enquired if it was acceptable to administer the second dose without restarting the series.
