Idiopathic. Unsure if that is related to the vaccine. Patient described "intense pain in back and legs" immediately after the vaccination. I asked her if this is allergic reaction, if I should administer an epinephrine shot for her? She was very adamant and stated NO! she does NOT want the shot, it is NOT allergic reaction and she does not want us to do anything. So I asked if I could call paramedics/ambulance. She said yes. Patient was taken away by ambulance immediately.

Patient was taken to the hospital. I called her to follow up. She states everything is fine, and she is OK. Still unsure why she had that "intense pain in back and legs" after the flu vaccine. A few days later, she also wanted to get a covid vaccine with us. Patient was adamant on getting the covid vaccine, but after talking to Dr. (withheld name) Registered Nurse (withheld) at (phone number withheld), she states to hold off on the covid vaccine and do not give to patient yet. Doctor will get back to the patient. On our VAR form, she will also be marking YES to adverse reaction, since she had one last time, so we would no longer be able to give it to her. I told RN since we cannot give to her due to our VAR form questionnaire, RN states if patient does need one, and doctor approves, then patient will get it in the medical office.
