We vaccinated employee around 11am and he returned about 1:30 saying he felt ?weird? since receiving the shot. He stated he felt ?tired? and he ?could not focus?. He denied itchiness or swelling of his tongue, but he did grab his throat and say he felt something in his throat. I asked if his throat was soar and he said no, I asked him if he was having difficulty breathing and he said no. I finally asked if his throat felt like it was swollen inside and he said, ?yes?. I suggested I speak with his manager and informed her of the concern of his throat feeling swollen. I suggested he be seen in the ED to r/o any possible chance of an adverse reaction. He stated he will go to the ED. I gathered his contact info as well as his manager?s info. Vaccinatory states he appeared to be ?anxious? when she vaccinated him. Incident reported to supervisor and senior manager.
