Syringe issue

Symptom narrative

Defective needle or pre-filled syringe. When vaccinating the patient, I inserted the needle into the left Deltoid muscle and the plunger would not depress. I withdrew the needle from the patient's arm and I had to redo the injection with a new pre-filled syringe. The patient's mother was present and she seemed to understand that things can happen.
